Massage

Massage has been known for centuries to have beneficial effects of both the body and the mind.  Massage is both deeply relaxing and calming because it prompts the release of endorphins; which are the brain chemicals (neurotransmitters) that produce the feeling of wellbeing.  Massage is known to reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system, improve the immune system, speed healing of soft tissue injuries, reduce stress hormones, heighten mental alertness, reduce anxiety and depression.
