Service Description

An information and interactive workshop for girls celebrating the “Journey of You”! As young girls start experiencing even more changes in their body and moods, this workshop aims to delve into some aspects of life that may be transforming, and what it all entails. Open to girls aged 9 to 13 years old to explore the fun of becoming a woman… What the girls will learn:  The natural cycles of our body and moods. o Physical changes o Emotional changes o Responsibility changes  Self care practices o Listening to your body including kinesiology self testing. o Expressing your emotions through journaling. o Learning healing techniques to cope with any stressors. o Connecting with your body through dance, yoga, breath and meditation. What the girls will receive:  A care package including: o Personal hygiene options o Journal o Creative memento from the day  Morning and afternoon tea refreshments. What to bring: o Lunch and a water bottle. o An open mind and willingness to trust yourself to BE You... The class will be guided by Bronwyn Lakay, who holds a Blue card too.
