April 2021 Newsletter

Aho' to April... The News... Having enjoyed the long weekend with family, I remembered it was time to share with you briefly... It been an interesting start to the month with lots of rain, which my grandmother used to say always brings blessings... I love to hear our creek flowing during and following heavy rain fall. There really is a sense of tranquility with running water... the reminder of the flow of life. Sometimes we can get stuck in an eddy, but we can never really go upstream without an incredible force... & then there's the wonder of watching the power of the ocean - representing that some days can be "going off"; which means one things to surfers, and to others can represent the turmoil of challenges and big waves to overcome. Yet other days the ocean can be as calm and tranquil as a pool, or have strong undercurrents that certainly want to be known if you venture in. Nature truly represents and offers us reminders all the time of the joys of contrasts - ups and downs, darkness and light, doubt and faith, fear and love. Part of our role is to feel the polarity, so we understand, appreciate and are truly grateful for all the joy, love, and opportunity around us... Life is too precious to dwell too long on the lows, as there are so many highs - but it's just as important for us to understand and allow ourselves to feel when things are getting us down. Clinically - this month I'll only be at Graham's Banora Tweed Family Chiropractic Centre in South Tweed next week Thursday, 15th and Friday 16th April. For those who are unable to get in with me at my home clinic, you're welcome to see me down there by calling (07) 5524-7400 to find out their availability... The Views... Recently I watched the movie of an old book I had read decades ago - 'Tuesday's with Morrie'. For me it reminds me of a time I used to visit a beautiful elderly friend, who actually had the same disease, ALS, that Morrie had, and although her limbs and organs were shutting down, her mind, her sight and her voice were so very present. Oh, to see her eyes light up on the days that I would visit and at the time that I first read the book, I used to read a chapter or two of that book - & we laughed, and we cried together... Watching the movie, reminded me again to "Live Life to the Full" whilst we're alive... It's so important to love and let love... If you've never read or seen the book/ movie - I'd highly recommend it as it's "an oldie, but a goodie"!!! The Upcoming... The next full day kinesiology workshop will be on Sunday, 2nd May 2021. There has been a lot of interest, so I've managed to book the Gecko Hall at Currumbin to host the day. There are limited numbers to ensure a wonderful, personalised day and the early bird rate cut off is Sunday 18th April, so if you're interested drop me an email and I can send you a registration form. May you have an awesome April! Much love, Bronwyn :) The GDV Finger Biofield Health Assessment analyses how your body is functioning in the moment.
